This application uses Arduino and PIR sensors to detect movement inside a tunnel. When motion is detected, synchronized videos are played on different screens placed throughout the tunnel. It was developed with Expo to provide an interactive experience.
Project Details:
Processing data from PIR sensors accurately and in real-time, ensuring video synchronization between multiple screens, and maintaining stable communication between hardware and software were required.
A custom filtering algorithm was developed for sensor data. A central control unit was designed for video playback and synchronization between screens was achieved using WebSockets. Expo was preferred for user interface and general application management.
The tunnel application provided visitors with an immersive and interactive experience. Museum officials noted that the application increased visitor engagement and satisfaction.
